I created Living Mind Center because I believe change is possible for everyone. I know personally how powerful it is when you finally feel understood and supported.
I am a trained cognitive hypnocounselor and a professor with decades of experience creating paths to learning. Hypnocounseling is a gentle but targeted approach to shift what is getting in your way. In sessions guided by your goals, we work to uncover the parts of you that feel stuck or afraid. You set the direction for our work together — I listen closely, then use what you share to suggest interventions that chip away at the old patterns and beliefs standing between you and how you want to be.
What I Offer
What I offer is the careful guidance of a trained teacher who knows that learning is a hands-on process, and that the best teachers are guides who help you move easily and safely along unfamiliar paths.
I deeply value scientific research, even as I know the human experience is far larger than anything validated studies can measure. There is solid evidence behind cognitive-based therapy, expressive writing, talk therapy, arts therapy, and hypnosis — and I draw on elements from each of these proven approaches to help you access and rewire the parts of you that are holding you back.
“Anyone can attempt to climb Everest alone. Those who climb with a knowledgeable guide are far more likely to reach the summit — safely.”
